Executive Director Role

Requirements :

4-year degree completed

5 years of experience in leading teams of more than 50 people

5 years of experience owning the P&L of a business operation of more than $5M annual sales.

Working knowledge of restaurant systems and operations

Available Monday Saturday, 6 : 30am to 11pm. Directors will be off on Sunday and one additional day per week (not to include national holiday weeks / weekends)

I’m looking for an Executive Director for the Chick-fil-A in Chesterfield Valley.

Your availability needs to encompass the range of hours the restaurant is open, which currently is 6 : 30am-10pm (closers are usually out by 11).

Opportunity to manage a staff of roughly 75 people.

This role invests 80% of their time directly in the operation of the restaurant, and the remaining 20% on back office administrative tasks ranging from schedule management to restaurant performance analysis.

Between the two, this leader is responsible to :

  • Work with the Owner / Operator to establish the long-term plan for continued sales growth and sustained profitability.
  • Lead all aspects of the restaurant operation (front of house, back of house, back office, drive thru, catering, 3rd party sales, additional distribution points)
  • Ensure we operate within the top 10% of chain-wide customer satisfaction through all day parts.
  • Actively work to correct issues with guests, staff, equipment, and vendors and creates systems to ensure a long-term fix.
  • Drive the financial performance of the business
  • Provide feedback in line with our established schedule
  • Make the necessary operational changes to achieve published goals and metrics
  • Oversee organization and maintenance of office operations.
  • Work with the Kitchen Director to monitor food costs and manage waste within the
  • Partner with the Training Director and Owner / Operator to recruit and select our identified ideal candidates for staff : Hungry, Humble, Smarl.
  • Responsible for the morale and positive work environment of the entire staff.
  • Actively work to maintain healthy working relationships within the Director team.
  • Unify the restaurant team around our vision, mission, and values, and displays those to the team.
  • Coach and mentor front line team members.
  • Prepare staff and leadership to speak about our processes, best practices, and their role within the business.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for the Director team for Owner / Operator
  • Analyze and adjusts operations / strategies around CEM reports
  • Main point of contact for other restaurant visits, and Support Center interactions
  • Review the set-up sheets for the week with the Director of Daily Ops to ensure proper coverage, correct positioning, and training opportunities.
  • Establish and communicate the sales goals, transaction goals, and CEM targets for each day part, each week.
  • Oversee the inventory and EOM count process with the Kitchen Director.
  • Work with the Owner / Operator to establish and manage the restaurant budget, sales forecast, and financial performance for the restaurant.
  • Actively manage labor and labor budget, to include overtime limits, across each day part to ensure restaurant achieves monthly labor goal.
  • Ensure payroll / HR accuracy monthly
  • Audit HR files and labor practices (particularly youth employment) for state and federal compliance.
