Job Summary : The Manufacturing Production General Manager will oversee the daily operations of our production facility.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, team leadership, and operational efficiency.

This role is critical to ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

This role involves strategic leadership, operational management, and collaboration with various departments to ensure the efficient and effective production of gift card solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Operational Management :
  • Oversee all aspects of production operations including production, maintenance, quality control, and logistics.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce operational strategies to meet production goals and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor production schedules and adjust resources as needed to meet deadlines and address any issues.
  • Leadership and Team Development :
  • Lead, mentor, and manage production staff, including department managers, supervisors and team leads.
  • Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork, employee engagement, and professional development.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to staff.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Implement and monitor quality control procedures to maintain product integrity and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Quality Manager to address any quality issues promptly and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.
  • Support and drive safety policies with Safety Lead and collaborate on procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Support Safety Lead to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to manufacturing and workplace safety.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Lead initiatives for lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the production and senior leadership
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and productive operations.
  • Prepare and present reports on production performance, including production metrics and key performance indicators (KPI).

Requirements : Qualifications :

Qualifications :

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience : Six to ten years of experience in manufacturing management, with at least three to five years in a production leadership role.
  • Skills :
  • Strong Leadership and People skills and the demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and manage teams effectively, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Proficient in production planning, scheduling, and process optimization.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proven track record in making data-driven decisions to resolve complex issues.
  • Strong understanding of quality control, safety regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Ability to analyze financial reports and manage budgets effectively.
  • Proficiency in manufacturing software and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various departments and stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of driving operations excellence and achieving production goals
  • Ability to adapt to changing environment and handle complex challenges
