Job Description
Purpose and scope of role :
The Warehouse Clerk has a broad range of responsibilities that help facilitate the continuing flow of production work through the company.
Performing the tasks related to production regarding materials entering and leaving the production facility daily, the Shipping and Receiving Clerk has tasks that range from inspection to daily transactions.
The position is also responsible for the timely inspection and acceptance of materials to the shipping of materials
This position is non-exempt, requires a 40-hour workweek and overtime as needed.
Working hours : 8 : 00AM 5 : 00PM
Lunch : 12 : 00PM 1 : 00PM
Responsibilities and Authority :
Warehouse Clerk has the following responsibilities / authority :
- Facilitates operations regarding inventory
- Creating records
- Sorting and filing documents
- Sending follow up emails
- Data Entry / Placing orders
- Inventory
- Help Kit items in accordance with specifications provided by fulfillment lead
- Receives general materials in a timely fashion
- Inspects materials as needed
- Verifies materials received against purchase orders
- Reports and logs any materials received.
- Works with Purchasing on return authorizations
- Monitors parts on shortage reports and prioritizing their receiving to stockroom
- Ships product on designated dates including preparing shipments to customer's specifications
- Assists with stockroom duties as needed, and performs and assists in kitting of work orders
- Computer Literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Responsible for work traceability
Organizational Relationship :
Warehouse Clerk reports to Purchasing Manager
Job Competency / Qualifications
Education and Training :
High School Diploma / GED or equivalent.
Minimum one (1) year stock work ; OR Any combination of training, education, and / or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job duties successfully and meet business objectives.

- moving mechanical parts and vibration; frequently required to stand, walk 4-8hours / day, talk, hear, observe, type, see, use hands to finger, handle, or feel;
- bend or stoop, reach with hands and arms; and frequently use both feet and move them forward / backward and side to side;
- sit for extended periods of time; occasional climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and continuously reach and twist, including side-to-side movements;
carry or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift, carry or move 26-50 pounds.
