POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- License : Current state of Illinois Registered Nurse license required.
- Education : Associate’s Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred. For hires or transfers on / after 8 / 1 / 3, must attain a BSN within 5 years of hire / transfer date.
- Certifications : CPR and ACLS required.
New grads have 6 months from date of hire for ACLS certification).
- NIHSS required within 3 months of hire.
- Special Skills : Specialty certification recommended after 2 years of critical care experience.
- Permission to give Moderate Sedation under the direct supervision of ordering physician.
- Experience : Minimum of 1 year experience in an acute care environment is preferred.
- New graduates are accepted in combination with new graduate programs.
