Job Summary and Qualifications
- Responsible for the daily flow of activities and timely provision of services.
- Ensures appropriate scheduling and staffing of employees according to hospital and departmental standards.
- Monitors and evaluates daily productivity statistics in collaboration with the Director.
- Acts as a clinical resource for staff and physicians.
- Create or assists with the development and implementation of policies and procedures consistent with those of the organization and nursing standards.
- Follows patient and employee safety / security policies and protocols, including hand hygiene, use of universal precautions, use of personal protective equipment, and adherence to isolation procedures.
Qualifications :
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :
Bachelor’s degree required.
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS :
Current registration with the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas as a Registered Nurse.
