About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse - CVICU Job Specialty : Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 07 : 00 AM - 07 : 00 PM Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Not specified License : Registered Nurse (RN) Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Must-Have : Competency in NxStage and Impella Job Description : Provide care for cardiac medical ICU patients.
- Manage cardiothoracic and vascular surgery ICU patients.- Maintain a 2 : 1 nurse-to-patient ratio, including patients with NxStage or Impellas.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care.- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for ICU patients.
- Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatments.- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and nursing standards.
