JOB TYPE / COMPENSATION : Full Time Starting Base Wage : $20.00 - $26.14 Colorado Retina Associates is complying with the Covid-19 Vaccine Mandate.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES : Front Desk Coordinator staff are responsible for greeting all patients, guests and staff that enter a Colorado Retina Associates office.
They are responsible for checking patients in and out, schedule and reschedule patients as needed and collect money owed.
Front Desk staff are required to know all insurances that Colorado Retina Associates (CRA) is in network with as well as all physicians scheduling polices and to ensure clinics run smoothly.
They are also required to know and follow all Colorado Retina Associates policies and procedures.
JOB DUTIES Greet patients and visitors of CRA with the utmost respect and provide top of the line customer service.Provide Promptly pads to patients as they check in or ensure all information is obtained through Promptly pre-visits if a patient checks in online prior to their appointment.
Collect patient co-pays and balances if it was not collected on the Promptly pad.Ensure insurance eligibility for all patients and scan insurance cards into NextGen as needed.
Prepare physicians schedules by making sure patients are scheduled appropriately with the correct physician at the correct location.
As well as ensuring authorizations and insurance are in place and accurate.Calculate self-pay totals for patients and collect money owed.
Schedule and reschedule patients as needed.Add notes to the details section of the appointments as needed.Verify schedules for the upcoming day and make adjustments to consolidate patients as needed, per physician scheduling preferences.
Transact vitamin sales to patients.Check visitors in and out.Keep track of all transactions and complete closing log.Account for all fee tickets at the end of each day.
Communicate with physicians if patients are going to be late.Stock and maintain drink station and all waiting areas.Maintain schedule for staff assisting with kitchen clean up.
Turn on and off the lights at the beginning and end of the day.Turn on and off computers at the beginning and end of the day.
Unlock and lock the front door at the beginning and end of the day.Send an email to the Front Office Manager at the close of each day.
When needing time off, follow CRA policies.Follow all other policies and procedures put in place by management.No Overtime unless approved.
Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, verbally or in writing.
Travels when necessary to any location for coverage and / or training Saturday coverage is required on a rotating basis MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENT High School Diploma / GED PREFERRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE : Prior customer service experience preferred;
