Under the direct supervision of the Design and Engineering Manager, the Energy Analyst is responsible for measuring energy efficiency and analyzing utility bills for proposed solar projects.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Create customer facing Solar PV reports.
- Research and analyze utility bill information and utility policy.
- Calculate impact of Solar PV system under varying scenarios.
- Build web-based portals for online monitoring capabilities.
- Assist the department in other areas as needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experience using 3D & 2D modelling software.
- Motivated, collaborative, and team focused.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience
- Experience using industry specific tools including : Energy Toolbase, Helioscope, Scanifly, and SketchUp.
- Knowledge of utility billing policies and tariffs.
- Bachelor’s or Associates degree in renewable energy, environmental science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
Work Hours and Location
Monday Friday 8 : 00 am 5 : 00 pm in the Cedar Rapids office.
