Our work depends on a Cloud Engineer Senior joining our team to support the US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM).

HOW A CLOUD ENGINEER SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Under general supervision, has duties of instructing, directing, and checking the work of other project engineers.
• Responsible for the completion of assigned engineering projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines.
• Leads a group of engineers, analysts, and / or technicians assigned for the duration of a project or may function as ongoing lead within a group of engineers associated with one or more technical areas within the telecom function (such as, but not limited to, network design, engineering, implementation, or operations / user support).
• Does not have formal supervisory responsibilities, although may provide input for (project) team member performance appraisals.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED :

• Education : Bachelor’s Degree (computer science, engineering, or related discipline) with 12 years of experience or Master’s Degree (computer science, engineering, or related discipline) with 10 years of experience
• Required Skillset :
• Work across teams, and external customer groups to develop strategy, design solutions, and advise implementation teams during infrastructure buildouts.
• Deal with escalations. Make assessments, recommendations or provide solutions to resolve issues.
• Write and maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions, knowledge articles, etc.
• Clearance Level : TS / SCI
• Required Certification(s) :
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II / 8140 Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contract
• IAT II 8570 / 8140 Baseline Certification Security+ or equivalent
• Location : On Customer Site
• Additional :
• Candidates must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph for certain positions as determined by the contract
• Position may require lifting of objects (i.e. IT Hardware), reaching / bending / kneeling (i.e. plug in cables) and other moderately strenuous activity
• Travel may be required to support the mission

The likely salary range for this position is $168,774 - $228,342. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.

Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
