EIS Holding is searching for a corporate payroll manager to oversee company-wide payroll functions and drive our Dayforce HRIS implementation. This position reports to the SVP of Finance and will have high-visibility impact on the efficiency and success our our national company. The right candidate will have at least 5 years of experience managing multi-entity and multi-state payroll for a national company, preferably in the construction or environmental remediation industry. Direct experience with Dayforce is required to be considered for this position.This position is onsite in the Westlake corporate office. Responsible for overseeing payroll operations across a multi-state, multi-entity organization and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Plays a vital role in implementing and managing Dayforce HCM, including integration of new acquisitions, payroll / benefits systems, and process improvements. This person will oversee payroll audits, benefits reconciliations, and compliance with 401k audit requirements. The Payroll Manager will drive efficiency within payroll processes while supporting the continued growth of the company.

Essential Position Responsibilities

  • Oversee all payroll activities for multi-state, multi-entity operations ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing.
  • Lead the implementation of Dayforce HCM across the company and act as the primary system subject matter expert.
  • Manage payroll and HCM integration of new acquisitions into Dayforce, ensuring smooth transitions and compliance.
  • Conduct regular payroll and benefit audits, including 401k audits and periodic reconciliation of payroll and benefit data.
  • Partner with HR, Benefits, and Finance teams to ensure proper GL coding, reporting, and compliance with company policies.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement payroll and HCM process improvements, efficiencies, and automation opportunities.
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of federal and state payroll laws and ensure consistent compliance across all entities.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, auditors, and service providers related to payroll and benefits administration.
  • Develop, document, and maintain payroll procedures and policies ensuring adherence to company standards.
  • Train, mentor, and manage payroll staff in system use, compliance standards, and process best practices.

Minimum Education / Experience : Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or similar field; experience with Dayforce HCM

Preferred Education / Experience : Bachelor's Degree and 5 or more years of payroll management experience in a multi-state, multi-entity organization; experience in construction or environmental remediation industry; experience in a Private Equity held organization; experience with M&A integration
