We are looking for individuals who communicate well, are dependable, and enthusiastic. The candidates will have a passion for food and beverage equally, and understand how to read a guest properly to ensure quality service, leaving a lasting impression and memorable experience.
MAIN DUTIES :
- Serving experience in an upscale market
- Strong knowledge in food and beverage (wine and champagne knowledge is a plus)
- Manual handling
- Able to work well under pressure during times of high volume service
- Exceptional upselling techniques
- To ensure all allergies procedures are followed at all times
REQUIREMENTS :
- Experience as a Room Service or a Server in a hotel or fine dining restaurant
- Knowledge of Micros POS System
- Highly organized
- Must be open to working AM / PM shifts, week days, weekends and holidays
- Work in Mini Bar when necessary
- To have a full understanding of New York City Health Department standards and regulations
- To take personal responsibility for punctuality
