Assistant / Associate Professor of Engineering
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY :
The Department of Engineering & Physics in the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences is seeking an Assistant / Associate Professor for the fall of 2024.
The applicant will be responsible for teaching courses such as Introduction to Engineering, CAD and Prototyping, Statics, Engineering Mathematics, Engineering Computational Methods, and Senior Design as part of a 4 / 4 load.

Teaching :
- Strong commitment to teaching and evidence of teaching excellence.
- Ability to integrate Christian faith with teaching.
Research :
Conduct scholarly work, possibly including students.
Service
- Willingness to serve the department, the university, and the community.
- Perform normal faculty responsibilities such as advising students, serving on committees, attending meetings, and supervising student projects.
Professionalism
Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with students, faculty, administrators, other constituencies.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :
- Baccalaureate required
- Master’s degree; Ph. D. preferred
ANALYTICAL SKILL REQUIRED :
Strong analytical and communication skills are an essential element of the position.
