Job Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Senior Corrugated POP Designer to join our dynamic team in Bentonville, AR. This role involves designing innovative, cost-effective, and eye-catching Point-of-Purchase (POP) displays using corrugated materials.
The ideal candidate must possess strong experience in operating a Kongsberg Cutting Table and demonstrate proficiency in structural and graphic design, with a focus on corrugated materials.
You will be a key contributor to our creative team, working closely with sales, marketing, and production teams to deliver exceptional solutions.
The Senior Designer will report directly to the VP of Sales.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the design and development of custom POP displays using corrugated materials, ensuring functionality, durability, and visual appeal.
- Create detailed structural design files and prototypes using the Kongsberg Cutting Table, ensuring precision and manufacturability.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to translate client needs into creative, functional designs.
- Provide expertise on material selection, sustainability, and cost-effective production techniques.
- Drive innovation in POP display design while considering brand consistency and maximizing retail impact.
- Manage project timelines and ensure designs are delivered on schedule.
- Oversee the prototyping process, from concept to completion, including sample creation and testing.
- Continuously research industry trends and new technologies to stay ahead of the competition.
- Provide technical support to the production team during the manufacturing process to ensure design integrity is maintained.
- Report directly to the VP of Sales, providing regular updates on project status and design development.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience designing corrugated POP displays.
- Expertise in operating a Kongsberg Cutting Table is a must.
- Strong understanding of corrugated materials, structural integrity, and display engineering.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- A portfolio showcasing previous corrugated POP display designs is required.
