Job Title : Back Counter Parts Specialist
Reports to : Parts Manager
Job Description :
Under the direction of parts manager, provide parts assistance to retail wholesalers and internal customers in a pleasant and timely manner.
Answer parts telephone calls and assist as needed; being proactive to resolve any problems quickly.
- Read catalogs or computer in order to determine replacement part stock numbers and prices.
- Receive and fill telephone orders for parts.
- Fill customer orders from stock or order.
- Fill service departments order from stock or order.
- Communicate with management and staff on all issues.
- Order parts as needed in a timely fashion.
- Issue spare and replacement parts, equipment and expandable items used in maintenance shop.
- Take inventory of parts and equipment and maintain inventory records.
- May drive to pick up incoming stock or pick up and deliver parts to units in other building or locations.
- Submit price and availability forms to service advisors in a timely manner, clearly and completed filled out.
- Know and follow Car Pros systems.
- Treat members of the public in a courteous and non-discriminatory manner.
- Work in cooperative and professional manner with all personnel and conform to the company’s policy and non-discrimination and harassment.
- Maintain and professional demeanor when on the job.
- Perform other tasked as assigned.
