JobDescription : Responsible for organizing and providing care topatients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention,and evaluation.

Delegates aspects of care to other nursingpersonnel based upon their licensure, preparation, and jobdescriptions. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goalsof the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of theJoint Commission if applicable and / or other federal, state, andlocal regulatory or accrediting agencies.

Work Experience : BrainerdLakes - 13300 MH Adult Consolidated and 14200 Focus Unit Only : Inaccordance with Minnesota Rules 245G.

11 subdivision 1; allemployees must be free of chemical use problems for at least twoyears immediately preceding their hiring and must sign a statementattesting to that fact.

• Chemical use problems are defined as : receiving treatment for substance use within the period specifiedfor the position in the staff qualification requirements, includingmedication-assisted treatment;
• substance use or mental healthdisorders that have negatively impacted the staff member's jobperformance; substance use or mental health disorders that affectthe credibility of treatment services with clients, referralsources, or other members of the community;

and symptoms ofintoxication or withdrawal on the job.
