SUMMARY
The director of nursing is responsible for creating an atmosphere that provides for continuity of quality care and quality of life for all residents in the living area 24 hours per day.
This is accomplished by providing clear direction and expectations to all employees about the philosophy of the area in which they work.
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
