Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and finalize prior authorization requests within specified turnaround timesAnalyze and resolve prior authorization processing issues through communication with clients, members, and healthcare providersDocument all prior authorization-related information and maintain confidentiality of member informationRequired Qualifications and EducationHigh school diploma or equivalentActive Certified Pharmacy Technician (State or National License)Minimum one-year prior authorization experience preferredHealth plan or Pharmacy Benefit Manager experience preferredModerate-to-high level of medication and disease state knowledge within the scope of pharmacy practice
