Supports the Controller in the management and supervision of the day-to-day general ledger accounting activities and adhoc project requests.

Works closely with the VP of Finance and Controller in finance, capital budgeting / fixed assets, and cash management activities of the organization.

This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation, 990 tax preparation, and support of budgeting and forecast activities.

Required Skills :

• The ability to analyze financial data, develop meaningful financial reports for management, discuss financial matters with management, prepare written reports, calculate and interpret financial data, and analyze economic trends and conditions.
• Must be highly organized, have the ability to multi-task at all times and must have a strong technical accounting background, including ability to research and / or implement new accounting issues / pronouncements.
• Expected to be able to make recommendations to existing processes in order to improve efficiencies and strengthen internal controls.
• Strong communication and computer skills.
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Required Experience : Required :

• Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in Accounting or Business Administration with an emphasis or major in Accounting.
• Certified Public Accountant.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on accounting or auditing experience.
• Previous experience as an accounting manager, supervisor, or senior accountant at a medium to large company.

Preferred :

• 2-3 years major public accounting work experience.
• Hospital or healthcare work experience.

Minimum Salary : $107,598.40

Maximum Salary : $177,548.80
