Specializing in creating impactful campaignsthey drive results for their clients. As they continue to grow theyseek a meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper to join their team andmanage the financial aspects of the agency.

This is an inofficerole but you can work from home on Fridays.

Position Overview :

The bookkeeper will be critical in maintaining the agencysfinancial health. This position is responsible for managingdaytoday accounting tasks ensuring accurate financial records andsupporting the finance team in various administrative functions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accountingprinciples attention to detail and the ability to work in afastpaced environment.

KeyResponsibilities :

  • Financial RecordKeeping : Maintain and update financial recordsincluding accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledgerentries.
  • Invoicing andPayments : Prepare and send client invoices monitoraccounts receivable and follow up on overduepayments.
  • ExpenseTracking : Track and categorize expenses ensuringaccuracy in reporting and budgetadherence.
  • BankReconciliation : Perform monthly bank reconciliationsto ensure financial records align with bankstatements.
  • PayrollProcessing : Assist with payroll preparation ensuringtimely and accurate employeepayment.
  • FinancialReporting : Generate financial reports such as profitand loss statements balance sheets and cash flow statements tosupport decisionmaking.
  • TaxCompliance : Assist in preparing tax filings andensure compliance with relevantregulations.
  • BudgetManagement : Work with the finance team to developand monitor budgets providing insights and recommendations asneeded.
  • AuditPreparation : Assist in preparing for audits and workwith external auditors asrequired.
  • AdministrativeSupport : Provide general administrative support tothe finance department including filing data entry and maintainingfinancial records.

Qualifications :

  • Experience : Minimum of 35 years of bookkeeping experience preferably in anadvertising marketing or digital agencyenvironment.
  • Education : A bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field ispreferred but not required. Relevant experience willbe considered.
  • TechnicalSkills : Proficient in QuickBooks Microsoft Excel andother accounting software. Experience with agency managementsoftware is a plus.
  • Attention toDetail : Strong attention to detail and accuracy infinancial recordkeeping andreporting.
  • OrganizationalSkills : Excellent organizational skills with theability to manage multiple tasks anddeadlines.
  • CommunicationSkills : Strong verbal and written communicationskills with the ability to interact effectively with team membersandclients.
  • ProblemSolving : Ability to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies andfinancialissues.
  • Integrity : High integrity and professionalism with a commitment to maintainingconfidentiality.
