About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location : Tucson, AZ 85723
Shift Timings : 40hrs / week
Start Date : July 2024
Duration : 3 to 12+ months
Responsibilities :
Providing a wide range of specialized nuclear medicine procedures, including diagnostic imaging, therapy with unsealed radioactive materials, radio assay, in vivo or in-vitro cell labeling;
evaluating abnormal results; using and maintaining equipment; setting up and monitoring quality control
- Positions the patient for desired results; utilizing positioning cushions and privacy shields as appropriate.
- Receive patients, explain procedure, answer questions relating to the procedure, position patient for all necessary views and tend to their comfort for the duration of the procedure.
- Obtain pertinent clinical data from the patient, electronic chart, requisition, and interviewing the patient and / or family
Qualification :
License : Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist from the NMTCB or ARRT Nuclear Medicine (NM)
Certifications : BLS / CPR
Experience : Minimum of 2 years current experience in this field and recent experience in a hospital setting including covering inpatient units, ED and ICU.
