Job Description & Requirements Specialty : PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 17 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Job Title : Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse Location : Orange, California Shift : Nights (3x12-hour shifts, 7 PM – 7 AM) Start Date : November 17, 2025, December 1, 2025, December 15, 2025 Overview : We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PICU Registered Nurse to join our high-acuity pediatric team in Orange, CA. This role is ideal for nurses with a strong background in critical care who are ready to contribute to a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. First-time travelers are welcome. Key Responsibilities : Deliver high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients ranging from birth to 18 years Manage complex cases including metabolic, respiratory, endocrine, oncology, neurosurgical, trauma, and cardiology patients Perform advanced procedures including arterial line management, conscious sedation, CRRT, and ECMO Document care using Cerner EMR system Float to NICU and CVICU as needed; may float to other units Work every other weekend and two of the three major holidays Qualifications : Minimum 1.5 years of experience in a high-acuity, high-census PICU setting Active certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS Strong clinical skills in pediatric critical care Familiarity with Cerner documentation system Additional Information : Maximum of 7 days requested time off (RTO) allowed No on-call requirement Preference given to candidates with prior assignments longer than 8 weeks and history of extensions at reputable facilities Apply Today : Join a team committed to excellence in pediatric care.
