About The Position
Job Title : Surgical Services Technician Job Specialty : Certified Operating Room Technician / Surgical Technician (CST) - Robotics Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : - Day : 4x10-Hour (07 : 00 - 17 : 30)- Mid : 5x8-Hour (13 : 00 - 21 : 30) - Staggered start times as needed : 7 am, 9 am, 11 am, or 1 pm.
Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours weekly Experience : Minimum 2 years required, with at least one prior travel assignment License : Valid state license required Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have : - DaVinci Xi Robotics Experience- Proficiency in Cerner Job Description : Perform tasks and functions related to robotic surgeries across various specialties, including General, GYN, and Urology.
- Provide surgical assistance in orthopedic procedures, neuro / spine, podiatry, and more.- Engage in a rotating call schedule : 1-2 weekdays and 2-3 weekends in a six-week period.
- Prepare for every other weekend and holiday rotation as needed.- Participate in a focused orientation of 28 hours, participating in both pre-start and during orientation modules.
- Ensure compliance with the flu vaccine requirement, with no exemptions allowed.- Work collaboratively with surgical teams, maintaining high standards of patient care.
- Scrub uniforms are provided for duty.Please note that module completion may require an average of 12 hours, recorded via transcripts.
Additional non-billable hours may be needed.
