Key job responsibilities

As a Product Marketing Manager for Edge Networking, you will have the opportunity to define and drive the marketing and go-to-market strategy for current and future, cutting-edge Edge Networking services.

This will include driving launch activities, creating compelling content to help customers understand the use cases and value propositions, and building the right marketing programs to drive awareness, customer engagement, service adoption, and retention.

The PMM for Edge Networking will also work with the engineering teams to shape the product vision and prioritize features.

A day in the life

As Product Marketing Manager for AWS Edge Networking, you will have the opportunity to own and drive the marketing strategy to help customers build and run resilient, highly available applications in the AWS cloud.

You will work with product and engineering teams to shape the product vision and prioritize features. You will own the creation of content that drives awareness, preference, and adoption of AWS, and scale our messaging through key launches and channels including the website, events, and more.

You will partner cross-functionally with GTM, sales, training, and other counterparts to build the right marketing programs to drive customer engagement and service adoption.

And you will own and drive the value propositions for operating on AWS that meet key customer use cases and convey AWS’s unique value.

About the team

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success.

AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
  • Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels
  • Experience managing external partners to develop marketing programs
  • Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $98,200 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600 / year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.
