A company is looking for a Senior Staff Data Engineer - Cloud Analytics & FinOps Engineering Platform.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable data warehousing solutions for cost and usage analytics across multiple cloud environments
Serve as the primary FinOps engineering contact, translating functional requirements into technical specifications and collaborating with engineering teams
Build and optimize data ingestion connectors and query engines for complex analytics workloads while ensuring data quality and governance
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in data engineering with expertise in distributed data systems and cloud-native architecture
Proven experience building data warehousing solutions on AWS, GCP, and Azure with hybrid cloud integration
Expert-level proficiency with modern data stack technologies such as dbt, Trino / Presto, and Apache Airflow
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, and SQL with experience in data pipeline development
