Chef de Cuisine
Denver’s premier catering and events company is looking for a rock star Chef de Cuisine! We’re looking for that perfect someone that thrives in a fast-paced environment,
and is passionate about culinary excellence.
Responsibilities : The Chef de Cuisine shares responsibility for all culinary activities for the kitchen with the Executive Chef.
This position will manage all activity in the kitchen, train personnel, plan menus, monitor product purchasing and culinary budget in unison with the Executive Chef.
Duties include :
- Work with the Culinary Director to schedule all kitchen staff including managers, prep cooks, and dishwashers.
- Responsible for food and kitchen supply ordering in Executive Chef’s absence.
- Distribute food preparation lists to juniors and their departments of the kitchen.
- Staying updated and in clear communication with the VP of Operations regarding any changes to events.
- Taste prepared food from all areas of kitchen production regularly, and adjust seasoning and presentation aesthetics to reflect the highest quality possible.
Adjust master recipes as needed, coordinating with the executive chef.
Responsible for overall professionalism and ethical conduct in the kitchen and interactions with clients and internal staff.
Handle and document any behavioral discrepancies with juniors and report to HR.
Other duties as assigned.
This is a full-time exempt / salaried position - $70K 85K per year based on experience, professional references and skill set.
Must be willing to work during the day, evenings, and on weekends.
