Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Prior tutoring / teaching experience and graduate-level education preferred. Base contract rates start at $18 / hour and can rise for specialized subjects, up to $40 / hour with the same student. Paid up to twice per week. Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like. Remote tutoring on our Live Learning Platform—no commuting. AI-powered Tutor Copilot to assist with real-time support and lesson generation. We handle logistics; you invoice for sessions and we manage payments. 1-on-1 Online Tutoring Instant Tutoring (on-demand) Entry level Full-time
Overview
The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects thousands of students with online AP English Literature and Composition tutors nationwide. As a tutor, you set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and impact students’ learning from home.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1-on-1 online AP English Literature and Composition tutoring.
- Adapt lessons to individual learning styles.
- Prepare and deliver clear explanations of concepts.
- Utilize the Live Learning Platform to conduct sessions remotely.
- Collaborate with students to track progress.
