Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current State Tested Nursing Aide (STNA) certification in the state of employment.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in basic patient care tasks, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
- Basic knowledge of infection control practices.
- Ability to lift and move patients, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Help patients with mobility, including transferring them to and from beds or wheelchairs.
- Report any changes in patient conditions to the nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients.
- Assist with feeding patients who require help and ensure they receive adequate nutrition.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families, fostering a positive and caring atmosphere.
- Follow all safety and infection control procedures to protect patients and staff.
