Job Overview :

The Shoe Expeditor is responsible for processing new merchandise and recovering the shoe sales area as well as maintaining high customer service and presentation standards.

Essential Functions :

Recover shoe sales floor and scan inventory back into stock* Maintain integrity of shoe inventory by ensuring accuracy of scanning and placement* Receive and process new merchandise* Assist in moving tables and fixtures on shoe sales floor for new merchandise, season changes, clearance sets, and special events* Set up shoe displays for new merchandise, season changes, clearance sets, and special events* Pull orders from stock and stage for selling colleagues* Fulfill shoe orders* Process damages, return to vendors, and shoe jobbers* Replenish displays and other products as needed* Assist in the markdown process* Assist in seasonal inventory* Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of shoe sales area* Attend to customer service needs in a friendly and helpful manner when approached* Maintain high customer readiness standards by delivering a clean, neat, easy to shop store environment* Dependable attendance and punctuality

Qualifications and Competencies :

• No Education or Experience Required* Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
• Resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities* Resourceful self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a team, and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities* Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and / or holidays

Physical Requirements :

• Position requires prolonged periods of standing / walking around store or department* May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, color vision and climbing ladders* Frequent use of computers and other technology necessary to perform job duties, including handheld electronic equipment.
• Frequently lift / move up to 50lbs* This position requires constant handling of heavy and / or bulky items as well as sharp items such as box cutters and scissors.
