Position OverviewJob Title : ED RN (Emergency Department Registered Nurse)Shift : Night shift, 3x12 hours (5 : 45 PM - 6 : 15 AM)Contract Duration : 13 weeksGuaranteed Hours : Client may call off up to 36 hours during the assignment.
RequirementsExperience : Minimum 3 years in an emergency department; first-timers not accepted.Certifications : Required : ACLS, BLS, PALSPreferred : TNCCLicense : Active IL RN license required;
must be in hand or in the application process.Floating : May float within the facility as needed.Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend.
Patient Care ResponsibilitiesRatios : 1 : 4 for all shifts in a 22-bed unit with approximately 65 visits per day.Skills Required : Cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, IV therapy, phlebotomy, emergency medications, and sedation administration.
Pediatric and psychiatric care experience required.Respiratory skills, including chest tube management and ventilated patient care.
