Remote Attorney
About the Company :
AV law firm based in Norfolk, Virginia, is seeking to add an Associate Attorney to join the North Carolina team of our Creditors’ Rights practice.
The Associate Attorney will collaborate with the firm’s other North Carolina lawyers and the broader Creditors’ Rights department to deliver outstanding service to the firm’s clients with the highest levels of integrity and professionalism.
This position involves travel for frequent court appearances in the state of North Carolina.
About the Role :
The ideal candidate will have civil litigation experience in North Carolina. All candidates must be licensed and in good standing to practice law in North Carolina.
Virginia and or Maryland licensure is a plus. The individual must be self-motivated with strong interpersonal, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
R ecent law school graduates who have passed the North Carolina bar are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with the firm’s North Carolina lawyers and the Creditors’ Rights department.
- Deliver outstanding service to clients with integrity and professionalism.
- Travel for frequent court appearances in the Durham area of North Carolina.
Required Skills :
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in North Carolina.
- Self-motivated with strong interpersonal, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills :
Knowledge of debt collection preferred
Courtroom experience (both motion practice and trial) preferred.
Pay range and compensation package :
Salary is commensurate with experience and ability.
