Type : Hourly, Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Shift : Monday- Friday Business Hours. Flexible with Evenings and Weekends.

Compensation Base rate :

$21 - $24 / hour (Trainee)

$28 - $32 / hour (Associate)

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Therapists to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in various aspects of our mental health and addiction program including group therapy, family therapy and individual therapy.

Reports to Clinical Director and / or Program Director

Key Responsibilities

  • Works directly under Clinical Director and / or Program Director.
  • Establishes positive, trusting rapport with patients.
  • Creates individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances.
  • Meets with patients for a regular individual session and stay up to date with all progress notes, and treatment plans.
  • Conducts ongoing assessments of patient progress.
  • Collaborate with family members and conduct family sessions as needed.
  • Refers patients to outside specialists or agencies when necessary.
  • Maintains thorough records of patient meetings and progress.
  • Follows all safety protocols and maintains client confidentiality.

Qualifications & Skills

  • License / Certification : AMFT, ACSW, APCC Or MFT Trainee (required), LMFT / LCSW / LPCC (Preferred)
  • Education : Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field, or another relevant field (required)
  • Experience with therapeutic modalities (Psychodynamic, CBT / DBT) and trauma work (preferred)
  • Current CPR / First Aid Certification (Required)
  • Valid CA Driver's License
  • Current Health Screen (Required)
  • TB Clearance (Required)
  • Clinical Experience : 2years or more (Preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Ability to build rapport quickly
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to communicate with compassion and empathy
  • Strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
