ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Manager of Pharma Product role will support the broader Product and Strategy team at IVX’s corporate office. This role focuses on managing IVX’s drug formulary, tracking and reporting on the new drug pipeline, and supporting IVX’s corporate relationships with pharma manufacturers.
This includes facilitating local market relationships between IVX and pharma partners and supporting data and enhanced services agreements.
The Senior Manager will serve as IVX’s in-house subject matter expert on IVX’s drug formulary and the broader specialty pharmaceutical marketplace.
Success in this role requires productive engagement with various functional areas within the business, including Operations, Procurement, Clinical, Sales, Revenue Cycle, Data & Analytics, and Finance.
The Senior Manager Pharma Product will report directly to the Head of Health System & Pharma Products and will regularly interact with IVX’s executive leadership team.
This role is multi-faceted and challenging, offering ample opportunities for autonomy and growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Product Management & Development
- Manage IVX’s Pharmacy and Therapeutic (P&T) committee and coordinate the decision-making process regarding which therapies IVX administers in its centers.
- Coordinate new drug roll-out activities across all stakeholder groups, including operational and clinical readiness, procurement, sales education, and revenue cycle preparation.
- Support IVX’s data and enhanced services agreements with Pharma partners, including :
- Identifying opportunities for new agreements.
- Implementing new agreements across IVX stakeholder groups.
- Managing existing agreements in collaboration with IVX’s Data and Analytics team.
- Future Strategy, Planning, & Innovation
- Track and report on the new drug pipeline, identifying the relevant implications for IVX’s business model and strategy.
- Identify and engage with new Pharma manufacturers and therapy types prior to launch of new drugs.
- Support the development of new Pharma products (e.g., clinical research) that will enhance IVX’s relevance to Pharma partners and in the infusion marketplace.
- Manufacturer Relationship Management
- Support corporate relationships with IVX’s Pharma manufacturer partners, identifying opportunities for growth and expanded engagement with IVX stakeholders (e.
g., sales, ops, clinical).
- Partner with IVX sales and ops leadership to ensure local market connectivity between IVX’s local teams and Pharma partners.
- New Market Research & Intelligence
- Build contact lists and leverage corporate relationships to arrange local Pharma connections and relationship-building in new IVX markets.

ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS
- Solid understanding of Pharma industry dynamics, including market trends and the new drug development pipeline.
- Enthusiasm and aptitude for developing subject matter expertise through autonomous research and proactive engagement with team members.
- Passion for detail, organization, and coordinating activities across a diverse group of teammates.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with stakeholders at all levels (from field-level employees to executive leadership).
- Strong problem-solving skills, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work across the organization and identify potential areas of overlap, friction, or dependency when processes are changed or implemented.
- Excellent listening skills and ability to uncover pain points and identify opportunities.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in the Pharma industry, healthcare consulting, or related field.
- Practical experience or solid understanding of the infusion therapy marketplace, including drug products, Pharma manufacturers, and broader specialty pharmaceutical market dynamics.
