The Oncology Nurse Navigator (ONN) serves as a consistent resource throughout the continuum of cancer care. This RN is knowledgeable on the multiple treatment decisions, strong emotions and financial impact of a cancer diagnosis.

Primary goals of this position are to : 1) enable patients with information and education thus reducing a portion of the stress involved in a cancer diagnosis, 2) empower the patient to participate in their personal care process, 3) improve understanding of their decisions and treatment plans;

Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.&3 years Oncology experience.&Case management or Clinical Trial Nurse experience.
