Location : Robbinsdale, Minnesota

Shift Type : Varied

Shift Times : Days / Evenings / Nights (1.0 FTE : 80 Hours Per Pay Period)

Hours / Day : 8

Hourly Pay Rate : $33.26 / hour - $49.88 / hour

Job Summary :

The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for providing optimal ultrasound exams and / or procedures in a safe and efficient manner, facilitating accurate physician diagnosis.

The role involves working with a range of customers, including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform ultrasound procedures accurately and apply critical thinking skills in emergent situations.
• Maintain accurate customer medical records and ensure confidentiality.
• Utilize hospital and imaging computer systems effectively.
• Interact professionally with physicians, co-workers, customers, and families.
• Support Heart and Vascular Institute (HVI) Vascular Lab in obtaining and maintaining IAC accreditation.
• Interpret and present preliminary examination findings for critical cases.
• Assist with quality assurance data collection and maintenance of procedure logs.
• Comply with legal, regulatory, and procedural requirements related to job responsibilities.
• Participate in professional development and maintain required clinical knowledge and credentials.

Requirements :

• Education : Graduate of an accredited program in Sonography (Required).
• Experience : 1-5 years of previous experience (Preferred).
• Licensure / Certification :
• RDMS Registered or Registry Eligible (Required within 24 months of hire).
• BLS Certification (Required).
• RVT Registered or Registry Eligible (For HVI Vascular Lab, required within 12 months of hire).
