About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a team of engineers and designers in delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
This role requires a strong background in project management, with an emphasis on effective project controls and minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management :
Oversee project costs in collaboration with Engineering Resource Leaders, accurately estimating and managing man-hours to achieve project goals.
Manage commercial contracts, ensuring timely invoicing, processing of Project Change Notices, and adherence to project plans.
Track and manage budget, schedule, and quality commitments, leveraging project tools for efficient control and reporting.
Client and Stakeholder Collaboration :
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
Effectively communicate scope and design changes, fostering a positive change management environment.
Maintain client relationships to ensure successful project closeouts and potential future service opportunities.
Team Leadership :
Lead and coordinate project resources, conduct weekly team meetings, and ensure adherence to project processes.
Build a cohesive project team, promoting collaboration and accountability across all roles.
Documentation and Compliance :
Review engineering documents to ensure compliance with project and industry standards.
Manage client documentation requirements and provide support throughout the construction phase.
Qualifications
Education :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering (preferred).
Certifications :
Professional Engineer (PE) and / or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Experience :
15+ years in engineering and project management, with proven expertise in project execution and engineering standards.
Skills :
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
