We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service to our patients addressing their inquiries and ensuring a positive experience with our healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities :
Patient Interaction : Greet and assist patients over the phone and via email with inquiries about appointments billing and general information.
Appointment Scheduling : Schedule and confirm patient appointments ensuring efficient use of clinic resources.
Billing and Insurance : Assist patients with billing questions process payments and verify insurance information.
Record Management : Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed.
Problem Resolution : Address and resolve patient complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
Communication : Provide clear and concise information to patients regarding their healthcare services and any necessary preparations.
Collaboration : Work closely with healthcare providers and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
Compliance : Adhere to all healthcare regulations and company policies to ensure patient confidentiality and data security.
Requirements
Education : High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus.
Experience : Minimum of 12 years of customer service experience preferably in a healthcare setting.
Skills :
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in using healthcare management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
