Job Title : Travel MRI Tech

Location : Pennsylvania

Start Date : ASAP

Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : Days, 4x10hr Shifts (Tues-Fri, 7 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM)

Call Requirement : Every other weekend (7 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM) & Weekday call (5 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM)

Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Travel MRI Tech to join our team for an ASAP start on a 13-week assignment . As a travel MRI technologist, you’ll play a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services while working with cutting-edge MRI equipment. This position offers a 4-day work week with the opportunity to work with a Siemens Magnetom Symphony Maestro , providing you with a chance to enhance your skills on advanced technology.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct MRI scans on patients of varying ages and conditions, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.

Prepare and position patients appropriately for MRI procedures to obtain the best possible images while minimizing discomfort.

Ensure the operation and maintenance of the Siemens Magnetom Symphony Maestro MRI machine (preferred experience).

Follow safety protocols for the use of MRI equipment, including magnetic field safety.

Maintain accurate patient records and document MRI results in the hospital’s system.

Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to ensure proper diagnosis through diagnostic imaging.

Assist with patient education , ensuring they understand the procedure and feel at ease during the scan.

Participate in on-call shifts as required, including weekday (5 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM) and weekend (every other weekend, 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM) call shifts.

Qualifications :

MRI Certification required (ARRT MRI or equivalent).

3-5 years of experience working as an MRI Tech in a clinical or hospital setting.

Experience with Siemens Magnetom Symphony Maestro is highly preferred.

Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations during emergency or critical cases.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, physicians, and staff.

Flexibility to work weekends and on-call shifts as required.
