Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical design and drafting, with proficiency in Auto CAD electrical and a keen attention to detail.
The Electrical Draftsman will work closely with engineers and project managers to create accurate and detailed electrical drawings for Industrial engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Create detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams based on project specifications and requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand design objectives and incorporate technical requirements into drawings.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings, including adherence to industry standards and codes.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers and project teams.
- Maintain organized documentation and drawing files for easy access and reference.
- Coordinate with other drafting team members to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
- Assist in preparing material lists, cost estimates, and project documentation as needed.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical drafting and design.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Electrical Draftsman or similar role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD electrical software and other drafting tools.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and wiring diagrams.
- Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in drafting work.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines effectively.
