Under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, the Patient Care Technician provides basic direct and indirect patient care. This includes taking and documenting vital signs, answering call lights, assisting patients with activities such as daily living and transfers and other clerical duties. Principle Responsibilities include :

• Observes, collects, and documents health status data as assigned.
• Performs personal care / interventions as assigned.
• Performs clerical duties and assists with patient registration.
• Contributes to an environment that is safe for patients, visitors and employees.

Pay Range : $21.24 to $29.76 per hour The pay described reflects the base hourly pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and / or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
