Product Analyst
Prefer those who can work EST hours but can be located anywhere in U.S.
The Product Analyst will manage one or more data products to drive growth, increase customer satisfaction, deliver features and enhancements, and maintain stability and security as we evolve our platforms and support the launch of new products.
They will be responsible for product discovery, planning, delivery and marketing throughout the product lifecycle. This position will partner closely with the product management team and various key stakeholders to understand client and associate needs and to plan and prioritize the roadmap.
They will also partner with upstream and downstream teams to prioritize end-to-end delivery, and with Relationship Management Teams, Credit, Risk, Finance, Technology, Legal and Compliance teams to ensure a low risk and compliant environment, and drive issue remediation as necessary.
Product Strategy / Business Management
Business Ownership Outcome :
Take ownership of one or more core business products, including lifecycle management, product strategy
Support P&L Management
Create or support business case development for approval of key initiatives.
Work with cross-functional partners to identify and prioritize opportunities for product improvement and new product development via business collaboration.
Synthesis & Product Visioning :
Define the vision for the PMs area of product and tie to the overall strategy of the team or company
Partner to understand trends in the industry and to incorporate new capabilities and to offer an efficient client and associate experience.
Perform market research, understand the competitive landscape, and seek out areas of competitive differentiation.
Strategic Impact :
Apply good business judgement in developing and driving a plan to execute on the strategy to realize product outcomes.
Know how to measure impact.
Responsibilities
Liaise with partners to understand client needs and understand how that translates business value in order to effectively prioritize product roadmap.
Be the voice of the customer and leverage user feedback in all its forms to better understand how users engage with products.
Fluency with Data :
Use data to generate actionable insights and leverage those to set / achieve goals for the product and connect quantified goals to meaningful outcomes for business.
Monitor Performance of products including units, commitments, balances, utilization, credit risk, losses, ROC, income, profits, and more to ensure responsible product management
Design Thinking :
Leverage design thinking principles to drive insights, innovation and suggest improvements to end-to-end client experiences
Product Execution / Implementation
Feature Specification & Roadmap :
Ability to display end-to-end thinking and awareness of upstream and downstream impacts on delivery
Develop requirements, prioritize backlog, manage roadmap and communicate across the enterprise
Set goals in a clear, actionable format that can be used to communicate with the team and drive product delivery.
Define a clear roadmap of highly prioritized features that deliver against vision
Product Delivery :
Working with Operations, Sales, Technology, Architecture, Design and other teams and partners.
Utilize agile product development process, routines, and ceremonies
As needed, Interact with agile delivery pods and / or vendors to enable client facing solutions or platform enhancements.
As necessary, support full SDLC (software development life cycle), partnering with designers, engineers, QA, to deliver best in class solutions.
Manage Go-to-Market plans and business readiness activities (e.g., communications, training, policy and procedure updates).
Product Maintenance & Risk :
Develop an end-to-end understanding of one or more products, including but not limited to technology, partners, vendors, marketing, positioning and strategy
Be the SME for a core banking product, paymnets and / or supporting platforms :
Understand internal & external factors, policies and procedures that impact client & product experiences.
This includes understanding products / platforms owned by bank, its supporting third parties, their respective interactions and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve product related questions or concerns.
Own the product experience and drive continuous improvements that add value to our clients and our company.
Set standards for quality of product offering and be able to monitor the systems and processes that give guidance on the state of the product(s) & associated risk
Stakeholder Management :
With the support of a senior PM, proactively identify stakeholders impacted by the PM s area of ownership and to work with those stakeholders to factor their requirements into product decisions.
Team Leadership :
With the support of a senior PM, manage cross-functional stakeholders with the goal of enabling them to successfully deliver on their product areas, continuously improve against these competencies, deliver meaningful business outcomes
Communication and Alignment :
With the support of a senior PM, leverage stakeholders in the organization to help achieve goals, deliver meaningful business outcomes, obtain necessary funding, and positively influence the strategic direction of the PM s team and the company overall.

Education and Experience
MBA preferred, BA minimum
4+ years experience in Banking or Financial Services
4+ years experience leading product development teams
Certifications
Product Management certification preferred but not required
Travel
Minimum to no travel is expected (infrequent). 1-2 times a year team collaboration and planning sessions in person may be needed.
