St. Lukes Living Center West is Located in the Med Quater District of Cedar Rapids.We are a nursing home that offers long term, respite, hospice and skilled care.
We are looking for Kind and Compassionate people to join our team while providing a positive work environment for staff and residents alike.
The Mainenance Supervisor provides routine maintenance and repair to the facility’s buildings, equipment and grounds. Insures a good work flow and coordinates maintenance and repair activities with functions of other departments.
Resident satisfaction and meeting resident’s needs is a very important aspect of this position.
- Performs routine preventive maintenance and inspections
- Prioritize all work tasks
- Work with and maintain a good working relationship with all outside vendors.
- Lead emergency drills and acts as a member of the Emergency Response Team.
- Perform minor building and equipment repairs and maintains all tools, equipment and supplies in proper condition.
- Assist during winter, with snow removal efforts.
- Attend all meetings, trainings, and routine inspections
- Oversee and manage the laundry and housekeeping departments
- Contributes to a positive, healthy and safe work environment.
