- Spring Internships : Monday, January6, 2025 (15-20 / hours per week max)
- SummerInternships : Monday, May 19, 2025 ( 40 / hours per week max)
The Marketing Intern will perform avariety of tasks dependent upon the team they support. This personwill coordinate details, execute projects, and workcross-functionally with other teams within Workiva.
What You'llDo
- Collaborates withmultiple teams across the organization to integrate appropriatemarketing strategies
- Measures success metricsand analyzes reports to assist with recommending areas forimprovement
- Researches industry trends,competitors, and regulations
- Assists inmanaging multiple marketing projects, programs, and / or eventsprioritizing workload and completion under tightdeadlines
- Provide assistance in trackingproject progression
Marketing Internsmay perform any of the following activities depending upon whichteam(s) they may support :
Content Marketing
- Aligns messaging with companyobjectives and strategic goals; puts the end user first in everystep of the content creation process
- Writes andedits marketing materials including brochures, blogs, white papers,and more
Customer Marketing
- Work with internal stakeholders andexternal vendors to secure venue contracts and execute otherprogram logistics
- Create, distribute, andanalyze customer survey results
- Build customerinsights to understand personas and inform product innovation,marketing campaigns, and content
- Analyzebusiness opportunities including the size and growth of newmarkets, and related customer needs, buying cycles,etc.
Global Demand Generation
- Plan, post, and measure organicsocial media channels
- Assist in promotion planfor paid social media campaigns
- Providessupport executing Global Demand Generation areas which may includedigital advertising, events, trade shows, account based marketingcampaigns and digital marketing assetcreation
- Create and monitor tickets formultiple advertising campaigns
- Use toolsincluding Marketo, Salesforce, Google Ads, Bing, LinkedIn, Twitter,Facebook, and more
Professional Group- is a free member organization for financial reporting,sustainability reporting, and audit & risk professionals.
Ourorganization provides events, thought leadership, resources, and anonline community to support our members in the day-to-daychallenges of their roles.
- Partnerand gain exposure across all areas ofMarketing
- Research, plan, and execute oncollateral and workshop / event logistics
- Assistwith managing vendor relationships
- Monitor andwork within established budget guidelines for theprogram(s)
Partner Marketing
- Organize and execute partnerevents
- Create messaging for weekly blogs andquarterly newsletters targeting an audience ofpartners
- Assist in building and executinggo-to-market plans and launchprograms
What You'llNeed
Minimum Qualifications
Must be currently enrolled in adegree-seeking program preferably in Marketing, Advertising,Business, Communications, or relatedprogram
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent verbal, written, andinterpersonal communicationskills
- Self-motivated with strong propensityfor action, results, and continuousimprovement
- Ability to work successfully, in ahigh-energy, fast-paced, rapidly changing environment isnecessary
- Exceptional organizational skillswith the ability to multi-task and manage multiple processes,programs, and procedures simultaneously while working underpressure to meet deadlines
- Strong creativityand brainstorming skills
- Strong attention todetail
If Content Marketing focused :
- General understanding of B2Bcommunications, including digital marketing and social media bestpractices
- Knowledge of AP style and able towork within brand and editorialstandards
- Demonstrated writing and marketingskills
- Writing samplesrequired
If Customer Marketingfocused :
Experience with Salesforce,Qualtrics, Tableau, and / or Google Data Studiopreferred
If Global Demand Generationfocused :
Analytical skills withability to analyze data from severalsources
If Partner Marketing focused :
Experience in project managementpreferred
If Professional Groupfocused :
Experience with Photoshopand InDesignpreferred
TravelRequirements and WorkingConditions
- Reliableinternet access for any period of time working remotely, not in aWorkiva office
