Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) position in an OB / GYN combined unit with night shift requirements.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in an OB / GYN combined LDRP unit within a hospital setting
  • Patient population includes laboring, delivering, and recovering mothers as well as postpartum and newborn patients
  • Night shift schedule from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
  • 13-week assignment
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care for mothers and newborns across labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum stages
  • Must comply with hospital policies and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Scrub or dress code requirements will be provided during orientation
  • First-time travelers will be considered

  • Active TN RN license or Compact RN license required and must be current at time of consideration
  • Minimum of 1 year recent RN experience in Labor & Delivery or OB / GYN settings
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (RQI certifications not accepted)
  • Cannot reside within 60 miles of the facility
  • Must not have been employed as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
  • Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
  • Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
  • COVID vaccination documentation required
