Job Description

General Description :

• Under minimum direction, the 9922 Public Service Aide, Associate to Professionals performs a variety of duties requiring a high level of responsibility;
• carries out complex tasks relative to the performance of management functions; carries out complex tasks on a limited basis in direct support of professional level personnel;

researches and analyzes data; assists in the implementation of programs and assists in various administrative duties.

Public Service Aides will be reporting to various SFPUC locations depending on assignment :

• Water Enterprise - 1657 Rollins Road, SF CA
• Wastewater Enterprise - 750 Phelps Street, SF CA
• Wastewater Enterprise - 3801 Third Street, Suite 600, SF CA
• Power Enterprise - 651 Bryant Street or 525 Golden Gate Avenue, SF CA
• Hetch Hetchy Water and Power Division - Moccasin, CA (140 miles east of SF bay area)
• Infrastructure - 525 Golden Gate Avenue, SF CA
• External Affairs - 525 Golden Gate Avenue, SF CA
• Business Services - 525 Golden Gate Avenue, SF CA
• Human Resource Services - 525 Golden Gate Avenue, SF CA

Qualifications

Education :

Completion of at least two years of college from an accredited college or university.

Desirable Qualications :

• Good public relations skills
• Good written and verbal communications.
