About the Company :
Progressive Coating is a unique industrial custom coating company providing a wide range of custom coating services, processes, and materials.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Develops and analyzes statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.
- Formulates and maintains quality control objectives complementary to corporate policies and goals.
- Understands and performs to all quality regulations, standards and policies, including but not limited to ISO 9001 : 2015 and AS 9100 : 2016.
- Aids in ISO 9001 : 2015 and AS 9100 : 2016 audits.
- Recommends and specifies instrumentation, calibration and gauging needs.
- Interprets drawings and verifies requirements as applicable to production / prepare PPAP documentation.
- Confers with Progressive Coating personnel regarding purchases, procedures, product specifications, manufacturing capabilities, and project status.
- Creates and implements inspection criteria and procedures throughout production cycle.
- Coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other plant managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
- Applies total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes within each department.
- Works with vendors to ensure quality of all purchased parts for company use.
- Creates and directs environmental test functions.
- Plays active role on quality management teams within organization.
- Designs and implements quality control training programs to key personnel in conjunction with managers.
- Investigates and adjusts customer complaints regarding quality.
- Participates in team meetings as required (safety, problem solving, etc.).
