JOB TITLE : Marketing Coordinator
Position Summary
Precept Wine is searching for a dynamic part-time Marketing Coordinator to work with our passionate team and innovative portfolio of brands.
The Marketing Coordinator supports the Foundation, Grape & Grain, and Trade Brand / Marketing Managers and the team director by working on a variety of projects and managing project requests in an efficient and timely fashion, with the overall objectives of building brands, growing brands, and meeting company sales goals.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Support marketing, sales, and key account teams with presentations and marketing materials
- Support Foundation marketing team with strategic marketing initiatives and activities to help achieve marketing goals
- Support Grape & Grain marketing team with brand launch and development to achieve sales goals
- Update and maintain Grape & Grain brand materials as needed (sell sheets, tasting notes, brand book, presentations, etc.)
- Update and maintain Grape & Grain website, create, and maintain brand sites as needed
- Coordinate sample sendings for finished goods
- Research trademark availability for brand names
- Research trends within the alcohol industry using Nielsen data and industry news
- Be sales point of contact for questions on bottle shots, tasting notes, labels, etc.
- Support Grape & Grain marketing team with brand launch and development to achieve sales goals
- Trade Team Coordinator :
- Manage coupon data base
- Create sell sheets for trade programs
- Manages upload and inventory for POS website
- Large POS inventory catalog updates
- Proficient In IDIG and for number running, analysis, recommendations
- Executive assistance as assigned
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- Background in Business, Marketing and / or Communications; additional background in the wine industry is encouraged
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint
Skills
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to take multiple projects from concept to execution, accompanied by the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
- Outstanding communication skills, including formal presentations and one-on-one communication.
- Creative and strategic thinker who brings fresh ideas, new perspectives, and a wealth of enthusiasm.
- Proven ability and experience with branding and marketing.
- Passion for wine and the wine / food experience.
This applicant must be flexible, professional, highly motivated, and must be able to manage multiple responsibilities and complete tasks on deadlines.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds.
- Acceptable / insurable driving record.
- Available to work weekdays, weekends, evenings as required by events, business travel, and projects.

This position will average about 20-30 hours per week for part-time.
