Job Description : GDH is hiring a Security Engineerto join our team in Nashville, TN. The successful candidate will lead a team of security engineers in managing and optimizing security products at scale for a large enterprise healthcare customer.

This role requires a deep understanding of security solutions, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of security in a complex and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and mentor a team of security engineers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
• Oversee the deployment, configuration, and management ofsecurity products, including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, VPNs, and endpoint security solutions.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices to protect the enterprise healthcare customer's network and data.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of security measures with overall network operations.
• Monitor security alerts and incidents, and lead the response and remediation efforts to mitigate risks.
• Stay current with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies, and proactively recommend enhancements to the security posture.
• Prepare and present security reports and metrics to senior management and the customer.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, such as HIPAA, and maintain documentation of security controls and processes.
• Act as the primary point of contact for security-related inquiries and issues from the customer.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience in a senior security engineering role, with a focus onsecurity products.
• Strong knowledge ofsecurity solutions, including ASA, Firepower, Umbrella, AMP, ISE, and AnyConnect.
• Relevantsecurity certifications (e.g., CCNP Security, CCIE Security) are highly desirable.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, team members, and stakeholders.
• Experience in the healthcare industry and familiarity with HIPAA regulations is a plus.
• Ability to work onsite in Nashville, TN, and travel to customer locations as needed.
