JOB ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR

POSITION : Substitute School Nurse
Location to be Determined
SCHEDULE : 2024-2025 School Year
7 hours per day, Monday through Friday
SALARY : Based on the 2024-2025 Teacher Salary Schedule with ESA Certification

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED : (Qualifications which are essential to the position)
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Must be a registered nurse currently licensed with the State of Washington
- Demonstrated punctuality and an excellent work attendance record
- Must work within designated bounds of authority and confidentiality
- Willing to work collaboratively with building and district staff
- Ability to develop a rapport and communicate well with students, parents, and staff
- Able to work independently and on own initiative with interruptions
- Ability to follow safe work practices and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED : (Qualifications which are not required, but would be useful to the position)
- Bilingual / Biliterate in English / Spanish
- E.S.A. certificate
- Two years of experience in public health nursing, preferably in a school district
