Financial Analyst

The primary responsibility is to analyze financial data and other relevant information and provide useful insights to the management on company's performance, investment opportunities, economic conditions, and provide suitable business recommendations based on overall outlook and expected performance.

Responsibilities :

• Preparation and analysis of financial reports - analyze actual results vs budgeted / forecasted, calculate variances and explain the causes of these variances to the management
• Perform cost analyses and provide recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance
• Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking, process analysis, drive process improvement, provide financial forecasts and recommend actions for optimization to management
• Assist in budget process
• Interpret data on price, yield, stability, future investment-risk trends, economic influences and other factors affecting investment programs
• Guide the cost controlling process and work with the management in enforcing policies and procedures
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in financial analysis and general accounting or cost accounting
• Experience in consolidation and intercompany accounting
• Experience in manufacturing environment
• Strong quantitative and analytical competency
• Knowledge of ERP and accounting systems, willing to learn new system
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions
• Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi task and meet deadlines
• Ability to work with others and independently, self-motivated & self-disciplined.
• Ability to commute to Batavia office for scheduled in-office days
