Skillforce is currently looking for ATSSA Certified Construction Flaggers for multiple positions avialable in Clarksville, MD and surrounding areas, ATSSA Certification is a MUST.
Payrange $20-$25 / hr.
Responsibilities :
- Direct traffic safely and efficiently through construction zones using proper signaling and flagging techniques.
- Ensure the safety of workers, pedestrians, and motorists by maintaining control of traffic flow according to project specifications and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with construction crews and supervisors to coordinate traffic control activities.
- Set up and maintain traffic control devices, cones, signs, and barricades as needed.
- Monitor work zone for hazards and take appropriate actions to maintain a safe environment.
Requirements :
- Valid ATSSA flagger certification.
- Proven experience as a construction flagger preferred.
- Understanding of traffic laws and regulations.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness.
- Effective communication skills.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Benefits :
